I almost freaked out thinking I had lost a graphic that I use in my work with health informatics, as well as, performance and process improvement. Just to make sure I don't electronically mis-place it again, I'm adding it to my blog to my blog where I collect interesting digital information. In addition, I get to share it with you!
The lesson here is to design new processes and workflows with the needs of users in mind, instead of simply looking at some from our own narrow perspective. If you don't know what users want and need, then ask them to try out the new process and workflow to see what they think and to provide feedback that can then be used to make adjustments. That is user-centric design!
