Healthcare Leaders has a new report titled The Bridge to Accountable Care Organizations in a digital magazine format. I does a nice job of orienting readers to what an ACO might look like, but it is also an example of how informal learning is impacting the workplace.
It will take some thought by healthcare leaders to determine how they will leverage and promote informal learning opportunities, as well as, prepare for a new type of healthcare delivery system. However, we have been down this path of change before .... think desktop computers, DRGs, managed care, etc.
