I want to share a case study of a hospital (Good Samaritan in Baltimore) that is taking a creative approach to addressing shortages of crucial frontline healthcare workers and turnover. Hospital leaders are taking proactive steps and using a work-based learning approach to help employees advance their skills and earning potential and better manager their workforce.
This type of creative problem solving and community partnerships like the ones Good Samaritan has with the Baltimore Alliance for Careers in Healthcare and Hitachi Foundation will help our hospitals make it through the workforce challenges ahead.
