The EMR & HIPAA weblog included a list of their favorite, so I thought perhaps I should recognize those weblogs that I really enjoy.
My other favorites are:
Yasnoff on eHealth - he is thoughtful and not afraid to explore new ideas!
The bloggers at Healthcare Tomorrow, Nick's Blog, and Hospital Impact are hospital administrator types -- like me!
At HIT Transition Martin and Michael are funny and full of information on IT written so a hospital administor like me can understand!
Dmitriy at The Medical Blog Network is bringing everyone to the table and his blog is reflective of everyone's different perspectives! He also has a page dedicated to RHIOs!
Health Intelligence Network is a new blog to me, but it has a few great things going for it. First, the primary posters are chicks and I haven't found many in my blogging travels. Second, they post on healthy kids too! So, I'm looking forward to reading more!
My favorite blog from across the pond is Informaticopia. Maybe it is because my maiden name is Welsh, or maybe just that I like Rod's posts!
I'm a firm believer in the power of the good, the bad and the ugly. Dr. Tuteur isn't afraid to talk about the bad and the ugly in her blog Treat me with Respect. If you don't believe me, read this post! I say, let the patient pee (in the bedpan) for God's sake!
Blawg Republic is all things on health law! As a former hospital risk manager, I like to keep tabs on the legal ebs and flows!
Family Medicine Notes is written by a doctor, on being a doctor! And we both have good taste in our weblog design!
The Healthcare IT Guy is Shahid and he has good stuff on IT!
Inland Empire RHIO blog is a tool for one doctor (Gary Levin) to communicate with stakeholders in the very large Riverside and San Bernadino area of California. However, in preparation for this post, I've learned that his last post was June 1.
A new ones I'm following is Curing Healthcare!
